Merry Christmas!!!

It is my thoughts that the real Santas are in Uruguay serving on a mission. Today I got to see my Elder Matthew on the skype computer screen and it really did my heart good. He is so very happy and well that was truly my whole Christmas! George and I feel so blessed to have a missionary out and serving the Lord. This is Christmas. I am blessed. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great 2012!!!!

Katie's fun

Katie had a fun week of Young Women in Excellence, Breaking Dawn Girls Night Out, and a private photo session with Cosmo at the BYU Women's Volleyball game. Of course Mom got to be a part of all the fun! Good times!

Niel's Birthday/Morp/Halloween

Niel turns 22 years old!!! He finally came home from college so we could celebrate his birthday. He is so busy at Weber with all of his activities. He helped Katie with her big group date for the high school Morp dance. We had the before and after activities here at the house and it was very fun. Earlier in the week Katie had her Springville Youth City Council activities helping see the kids cross main street safely. She was such a cute flag girl. This has been a busy week!!

Elder Matthew is a new District Leader

Elder Matthew is having a great experience as a new District Leader over his zone in Barrio. He sure loves his companion and they work so hard. He is having some great adventures.

ELDER NIEL IS HOME!!!

Elder Niel has completed his 2 year mission to Paraguay Asuncion and we are thrilled to have him back with us. What a joy to hear about the people he loved and served. It was hard for him to leave because he loved it so much. Welcome home Niel!!!

Elder Matthew wishes Elder Niel a missionary farewell

While Elder Matthew says goodbye in his email to his missionary brother Elder Niel, he tells us he will be transferred and made a Senior Companion in his new area. His companion is his buddy from the Argentina MTC so he is very excited. Elder Niel sadly is saying goodbye this week as his 2 years are over and home he comes. We are all excited to see this young man after 2 long years. I have obediently not mentioned much about his life after the mission as per his request so he can endure full blast to the end. I have not counted down these precious missionary days of spiritual progress and growing into manhood. I could never do that, but oh is it good to have them back home!!! I can not wait for this week to go by for my hug from a Paraguay missionary. Welcome home Elder Niel!
