What a great day as we opened Elder Niel's Christmas package from Paraguay and enjoyed his international gifts to all of us. We were educated about Matte tea coupled with these three containers from this unique country. This is the drink of their country. It was fun to see all of his pictures and enjoy the letter from him. George and I spoke to him briefly in the early morning to learn the details of the later call. It thrilled my heart to hear his voice and listen to him speak Spanish to his companion. Later, we spent most of the day attempting to break through the busy Paraguayan phone lines. After numerous tries, we decided to take a break and go tobogganing. It was a delightful success that everyone enjoyed when we finally connected with our missionary in Paraguay. It made me nervous that we wouldn't get to have our phone call and the sledding hill helped relieve the anxiety. It was a memorable Christmas day.
The E.T.A. ( estimated time of arrival) of Ben and Michelle's stork carrying baby Jasmine is still unknown. Updates will be posted! In the meanwhile, please enjoy these pictures of our Christmas break. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I am glad to hear that Michelle was able to spend Christmas day at home. Hope Jasmine comes soon.
